Sculpting Basic Shapes with Aleksey Saburov - Online Video Class

Aleksey Saburov is an internationally recognized master engraver, jeweler and micro-sculptor.  Best known for his signature carved coins, Aleksey has also created stunning watches, knives and other jewelry.  The meticulous detail, realistic images, and brilliant imagination embodied in his work inspire artists around the world.

This is Aleksey’s first video class.  In it, Aleksey introduces different forms of sculpture and succinctly explains fundamental concepts of bas relief.

Starting with a plain brass copper plate, Aleksey then demonstrates how he sculpts.
